Anton Bauer T2 reviews

T2 2-Position Charger and 70-watt AC Power is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from power used by Local 600 Cameraman! when you work in the motion picture and TV industry as a cameraman- you can't make excuses when it comes to losing power - especially when using power-thirsty beasts like Panavision or Arri HD cameras. Like F-35 &23's, Genesis, and Arri's Alexa-I use these batteries on Camera I lease or rent- also on my MK-5 steadicam with its HD monitor. The producers I work for don't settle for excuses- Anton Bauer HC batteries are the lightest-most powerful onboard batteries made- The T2 charger is the industry standard to light them up.Yes- they're are crazy expensive- but worth it- B&H always have the best prices too-

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job. This is a great option if the digital display (information readout) that comes on more expensive models isn't necessary for you. Here are some things to be aware of... when you want to use the power source function, it will shut off charging to one of the batteries. You can't charge two batteries and power a camera at the same time, however one will continue to charge. Also, mine makes an audible hissing type sound when charging in addition to the internal fan (which is much less offensive). It can be annoying if you are sitting near it in an otherwise quiet environment. I took mine to Anton Bauer, they checked it, and said it was normal. However, the fact that it charges two batteries at once, can be used as a power supply, and conditions my Anton Bauer batteries as needed to ensure maximum life, this is a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, beeps a lot It does beep a few times during the charging process, so if you're on a set, make sure this thing is a few feet from where you're filming when you first slap a battery on it. Solid, well built. Quick tip, if your AB batteries are flashing, you may need to reset them by sticking a paperclip in the same small circular opening where the red pin was when you first bought the battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A rock The Anton Bauer batts and chargers have been a staple for the film and video business for decades, and why not, they're simply terrific. While I've only had this charger for a few days, I've worked with the same charger (owned by others) for years. These things just keep going and never seem to fail. Love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Little loud, but does the job. I' m a Steadicam operator and this charger is small light and fits in my case with four Dionic HC's. It's working great however it does have a high pitch squeal to it, definitely can't have it on set while its charging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great AB Charger We needed a thrid dual charger and the T2 was the replacement for the Dual. It is a nice improvement and seems to charge our Lith Ion Bats faster. A good investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight and effective Though pricey, the charger works seamlessly, charging my Diaonic HC battery quietly and quickly. I especially appreciate the lightweight, yet sturdy construction

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works like a champ I had just purchased a video camera, so I was looking for a dependable battery and power supply system for it. The T2 works very well.
