Good Stand w/Two Shortcomings

While the stand will perform as required, it's a rather dated design, i.e., two round stanchions coated in a flat black texture that's typically used to coverup poor finishing. Assembly is simple and straightforward, and no parts were missing. Two biggest disappointments: no internal cable management and the stands only come with carpet spikes for leveling. The supplied rubber 'feet' are simply plugs that offer no ability to level the stands that currently resemble the leaning Tower of Pisa. Truly baffling. Would I buy again? Probably not, however, the Yes recommendation is for others that aren't as particular about details me.

Major assembly hassle

While very happy with the speaker stands overall, had a major hassle attaching one of the plastic feet. After many attempts I determined the hole in the metal base didnt properly align with the screw hole in the plastic foot. The only way to make it work was to use a dental burr in a Roto tool to widen the slot in the plastic foot, thus allowing the screw to thread into a hole in base. This was after first trying to file away some of the metal on the corner of the base. Also the stands were delivered in a product box that was completely torn open at both ends, with no double boxing. Luckily no parts were missing or damaged, but not the usual excellent results of many B&H purchases.

Great stands for the money!

Let me start off by saying that I bought these stands for a pair of Klipsch RP-160M's. The stands were pretty easy to put together and felt really solid while doing so. The included hardware was perfect for my needs. Although I probably didn't need the carpet studs, I ended up using them anyway. The studs helped stabilize the speakers even better in the end. These stands were the perfect height for my needs and allowed the horns/tweeters of the speakers to be at just about ear/eye level(38in from the floor). The stands put the top of the speaker about 41.5 inches from the ground. The only reason I docked it a star, was due the mounting plate not being as universal as it could have been. The size of the top plate is 6.5in x 6.0in. The package did come with other great options like stabilization spikes and extra mounting holes, but I I wasn't about to drill screws into the speakers. Although I do think that the speakers will probably not fall off, I do wish that they would have had two top plate options for these stands. The SF22 has an 8.5in x 8.5in plate that would have better held mine and other speakers in general. Not sure why they chose to pair the SF26 with the 6in plate. At any rate some "Blu Tack" worked perfect to help keep them in place.

Good quality stands.... a bit annoying and difficult to assemble, and the assembly instructions must have been written by an English major, not an engineer... but regardless, very good quality and at a fair price.

Nice solid stand

Stands are well built, stable and easy to assemble. Wish the top plates were slightly larger. Sanus states you can fill them with sand for added weight. That would be nearly impossible unless you drill larger holes to put the sand in. All in all a good product.

Defective Bolt

Assembly required and defective fasteners turn thus project into a royal annoying pain in the backside. Very disappointing Quality Control.

Good Value
