Rated 3 out of 5 by from Defective Latest Batch I'm giving this three stars because, in general, the Tram tie bar clips are quite durable and we've been using Trams for years with no problems. It should be noted, however, that I ordered a set of 10 tie bars recently, and they were all defective. The area of the clip where the plastic mic holder rivets onto the metal bar seemed to have been over-tight, resulting in a hairline crack in the plastic. Many of these, when we attempted to turn the plastic piece, cracked more, and the mic would no longer be securely held in by the piece. I returned all 10, and was informed by B&H that they did not have any pieces in-house that were not defective. I'm not sure if this is still true, but I'm in dire need of many non-defective clips and can't find them anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extras are a good thing What can I say about a clip? It clips. It does what it's supposed to do. I wish the TR-50 snapped into the clip or at least more securely attached to it. However, since this review is just for the clip then I'll just say that this clip clips and clips well. I bought 2 extras because I already lost one. Without these clips there's no way to attach the lav mic to a person (except maybe with bubble gum).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A perfect fit As a professional videographer who needs a reliable wireless lav system, I was concerned that this replacement tie bar would be an inadequate fit for my Tram wireless lav. But no! Fits like a glove. Great for quick attachment and when the lav will be out of the shot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Should sell these by the case LOVE sound of Tram lavs but the way in which the lav connects to the tie bar is terrible. I shoot in the cold frequently so it stiffens up the plastic and the tie bar constantly falls off. I don't know how many of these things I have lost but its has been a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got a Tram mic? Get a spare Tie Bar. The Tram system makes trading out attachments to the mic a breeze, unfortunately it also makes loosing parts easy. This is the clip you use the most and the one will be glad to have a back-up of when you lose your original just before the big interview.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loose fitting for tram and sontrim mics. Like many other reviews, it's ok, esp. for the price due to the same issue, i.e. the mics heads do not fit snug enough to stay in well. The older tie clips that use to come with these mics made for a much snugger fit...wish these did. Oh well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Necessary Item for the Tram Lost the original tie bar and used the vampire clip for a few sessions. It was sometimes strange to pin the mic and the clip has a bit more versitility on placements. Got this to replace the lost item and it is an absolute necessity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only way to go This is the OEM replacement tie bar for the Tram TR 50 lav mic. It is the only option for a tie clip for this mic. Since these tie clips can disappear like socks in a dryer B&H has the best option & price for replacement purchase.
