Now I might need more than one. One in the darkroom. One at the computer desk. One by the electronics repair bench.

EASY CHECKOUT, PROMPT DELIVERY, GOOD QUALITY ITEM, BUT A RATHER EXPENSIVE PRODUCT. IT WAS LESS COST ELSEWHERE, BUT I LOVE YOUR CONTINUED EXCELLENT SERVICE OVER THE YEARS! ------- LARS HICKS

Who would have guessed such a simple item would be so heavily used. I use this all the time to blow dust off of my camera, lenses and filters. I also use it to blow on the camera/lens mounting points before changing lenses or taking a lens caps off. It goes everywhere with me. No moisture, no saliva droplets, no problems.

I bought this in June 2014 from BH, still works great!!

I got this air blaster back in June 2014 and have used it over the years continuously. It still works fine. Looks almost new. Blows great as it did on first day. Dunno how they get repeat customers if their products never break. Great job Giottos.

Whoosh! It works for some things

I got it to clear dust from inside a scanner. It helped, but some of the specks are not loose dust. It helps with light debris on the computer keyboard, but I'll still need a vacuum sometimes.

Great Blower!

This is a much better blower compared to my previous cheaper one. Feels quality and it stands! Slight gripes is how it is much bigger than regular blowers (get medium or small for travel purposes) and how it requires more strength to blow than other blowers. Don't exhaust yourself like I did using this thing for like 5 mins straight.

Does what its designed to do

Provides a good blast of air to remove dust particles from lenses. Original packaging is good for storage - carboard back slides back and forth.

Silly, Expensive, Fantastic

You won't find $18 worth of materials here, and the rocket ship design seems almost childish at first, but what a wonderful tool to have! Saved me a sensor cleaning, works fantastic on keyboards and electronics, and it's even a better way to blow dust off of prescription glasses. The only thing I regret is that I regret nothing.

Can I use this on Camera and Lenses?

Can I use this on Camera and Lenses?
Asked by: Nikunj
I have several Giottos Rocket Blasters and use them on all my lenses as well as the camera lens mount area. My Nikon Z9 has a shield that protects the sensor, but I assume that any dust on the shield could find its way to the sensor. I also used directly on the sensor of my Nikon D4 to remove dust on the sensor. No problems of any kind. Before and after every shoot I use the Rocket Blaster on all my lenses and the camera mount area. I assume that dust that isn't evident is nevertheless there waiting there to screw things up. I have used other blasters, but this is the best without question. I'm not getting any compensation for this recommendation, but if you know anyone at Giottos who would like to send me $$$ with no strings attached, I would accept it. I am a Western landscape, macro, everything interesting professional photographer located in Colorado.

question

It claims to have a detachable nozzle. Do you simply pull nozzle off and rinse inside of blower with water? Mine is fairly old and no longer blows clean air.

question

Is it safe to blow on sensor?
Asked by: Edmond
No problem here...The Rockets are very economic & safe for sensors and have a built in filter when taking in air so you're not sucking in contaminated air to discharge...

question

Is there much difference in the amount of air blown with the Large Giottos versus the Medium? I'm mostly wondering if the extra bulkiness/length of the Large one is worth it versus saving a little space in my camera bag?
Asked by: Jeff S.
Bigger IS BETTER, or they would not make one! FIND Room in your Bag. I forgot mine 3,000 miles away at Palouse,Wash. Car drives by when Im changing lenses.I had a small cheapie blower, worthless, ruined many shots,no blaster to clean sensor.Don't go on a shoot without it. $130 to clean Sensor.
