    4-Section Air-Cushioned Light Stand (8.5') is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy With A Great Price!! I was looking for a low priced speed light stand but wanted something that would hold my investment securely. After all, you typically have $-$ in lighting plus light diffusion on the stand for under $. This stand meets my needs perfectly...It is sturdy and not cheaply made. I would put my Alien Bees on here without hesitation as long as it was out of the way and indoors..I would recommend this for speed lights all day

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy stand at a good price The stand is sturdy enough to hold a FL/50R flash with a 44 inch umbrella or a 40 inch reflector. At the same time it is light enough to carry around. Outdoors it requires a sandbag to keep it in place. The stand is tall enough for most indoor use and the air cushion feature is good for the lightweight gear I am using. The stand is an excellent value - I have paid more for a smaller, lighter stand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good budget alternative The best I found for the money. I had a pair that served me well when I was using speedlights with umbrellas and later, Dynalite 2050 heads. However, have moved on to heavier monoblocs (Elinchrom 1200/600RX) and these just did not do the job safely when used with my large litedomes as the combination is literally the max capacity of the stand. Initially, I migrated these to head-only use for accent lights and everything but have since upgraded all my stands to the Matthews Maxi steel stands sold here. One thing of note is to not tighten the leg locking knob too tightly... I did and it actually bent the tubes so I had to have it loose in order to slide the first section. A minor inconvenience but largely my fault. Either way, I would question the durability in full-professional use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good stand at a good price This is my fourth Interfit light stand. I needed something between my lightweight and heavyweight stands. This one fits the bill. The air cushioning allows the sections to retract slowly--though its not as smooth as it could be. It has a nice footprint and a decent amount of heft. Overall, the Interfit stands offer a good combination of quality and price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid I use this stand in combination with the 570 Stand Flash Shoe for my SB-800. The stand is light, portable, and does not take up much room on the ground. Overall, I am very happy with it. I gave 4 starts because I have not used it for heavier lighting, so I cannot testify to its performance in that area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth it I liked it very much. I am not a pro yet but for beginning I think it does the trick. The only thing I did not like was that it does not have an instruction manual, even though you can probably figure it out. It takes longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightstand that holds up your stuff... These light stands are made very well. I've used them for some time now and haven't had any problems. I've lost my grip at time with light heads attached and the air cushion really stops it from crashing down on the lower part of the column. Saved my fingers more than once also. You will not be diappointed if you need a light stand like this and get this one!
