Didn't work for me
I ordered the Lumedyne HV cable to Vivitar 285HV because at the time the less expensive Paramount cord was out of stock. First, I could not get this cable to power the flash. Some online research revealed that a lot of people were having the same problem, namely... getting the flash to power up via a cable from an external battery pack. Second, I noticed that all along the side of the cord is printed pccords.com -- which takes you to Paramount's web site!
