Bushnell PowerView 20x50 Reviews

Powerful! ...but think first.

This is a powerful binoculars, so you need to think first. Unless you have a very stable hand, it is more desirable to use a tripod when doing astronomy. I bought this, but thought that a 10x50 might have been better to use for viewing the night sky by hand. My advice is to use this powerhouse with a tripod for best viewing.

Good quality for the price

The field of view is much smaller than I expected for a 50mm binocular, but I'm satisfied. If you need this much magnification go with a bigger lens.

These binoculars were a pleasant surprise. The sharpness and dual focus are really crisp. I already owned a 10x50 Bushnell pair of binoculars but wanted more power. These were perfect for being hand held . Anything more powerful would need a tripod or one really steady set of hands. For the price of $65 paid, they are a real nice value!
