question
What is the circular dimension(circumference)that the product will occupy with the product in its fully open positioned?? Also, is the product made of steel or aluminum??
Unfortunately, the dimensions of the tripod when fully extended have not been provided by the manufacturer. This tripod is constructed from aluminum.

question
I like this tripod. However, would like similar that could extend about 8-10 inches and would have a ball head that can rotate. Anything to suggest?

question
I like this tripod. However, I am looking for a mini tripod that can handle a Nikon D90 or 7000 with a battery pack and a macro lens. The tripod would also need to extend 12 inches or more and have a ball head. Something that could handle about 8-10 lbs would be ideal.Any ideas?
You may want to consider the following model with a ball head included: http://bhpho.to/1jZBzxZ

question
will it support a canon 7D with lee filter system ?thanks, pradeep
The weight capacity for this tripod is 4.5lbs. The Canon 7D weighs 1.8lbs, and the Lee Filter system weighs approximately 10 oz. You would just need to take the weigh of whatever lens you are using into consideration. As long as you do not exceed 4.5lbs with the total weight it should suffice.

question
It says that the product is made of 100% metal. Does this also apply to the ballhead??
Yes, the ball head on the Manfrotto 709 Digi Tabletop Tripod is also metal.

question
is it possible to put a Kirk QRC-1 on this??
The 709 tripod has a standard 1/4 screw.

question
Is the ball head removable like a normal head (1/4 20 screw)?
I guess it can be removed - there is a bolt at the bottom that you could remove. It is not hot swappable like a normal tripod. To be honest it is really meant to be used as it is - a single unit.
