This 24 x 36" Matthews RoadRags II Scrim Frame has an elastic corded frames easily fold for storing and transporting. A simple flick of the wrist is all that's required to quickly open the frame making it ready for use. By using the different materials (available separately), the photographer/cinematographer/videographer is able to quickly create contrasts, different light ratios, diffusion or block the light.

How often are you buying these replacement frames? I just ruined my two frames due to mysterious mishandling and wind.
I bought my two additional frames to add to a kit (4 frames in all), so far I haven't had any break. I've used them outdoors in light wind and they seem reasonably robust - about the same as an umbrella. The point where the arms attach into the base seems a likely weak point though.
