The DELV-SM is a swivel mount adapter for the Delvcam portable monitors. The unit uses a ball joint socket with a locking mechanism for securing the monitor at the most convenient angle. The adapter mounts to a typical shoe mounting point and locks onto the camera (or other shoe accessory) with a lock-down screw.

DELV-SM Swivel Mount Adapter is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent product First thing I noticed initially was how strong and well built this swivel mount appeared. It has weight to it BUT, you need this item on your camera to hold monitors and on-cam lights so they won't slide out. I recently purchased an Ikan iLED 155 On-Camera LED that came with a cheap mount that loosened up as soon as I moved the camera. The light, battery, and plate, all fell off my camera (Sony VX-2000) twice (once at a wedding reception of course right before the best man speech) but luckily the light did not suffer any major damage. This DELV-SM Swivel Mount Adapter has large steel knobs...not the wimpy plastic ones that are too small to grasp and loosen easily. It may be tough to slide on your camera shoe but it's worth the extra fiddle. Treat yourself and your expensive equipment and buy this item if it is needed. Thanks BH and Delvcam!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value for the money I have used several hotshoe mounting adapters to get an LCD screen mounted on top of video camcorders. Although I don't own a delvcam monitor (No offense to delcam, this adapter has many advantages at a great price point. The uniot is heavy duty. It can adjust to different thickness levels of hot shoes and tie down easily. The adjustmest knob tightens down securely with the feeling that you Know when the monitor is secure. For the camera assistant in a hurry in repositioning the mionitor, this is a big plus. It is also tall enough to get your hands under the monitor to reposition it without having to work your hands sideways between the camera and monitor. Because of the durability of the adapter, it can hold a pretty hefty 7-9 inch screen on top of the camera. For some video pros using DoF adapters on their camera that need the monitor to be positioned upside down, this doesn't do the trick, but for holding your LCD screen, microphone or firestore drive (so you can read the screen when it is on top oif the camera) this adapter is top notch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy! I bought this DELV-SM Swivel Mount Adapter to mount my Marshall 5.6 monitor to the Sony FS700 camcorder. I tell you what, this product is sturdy as heck and i couldn't be happier with it. I tried a couple of adapters in a lower price range. No good. Didn't seem like you could tighten them up much. Any accidental bump and the monitor would move. One of them didn't even fit the cold shoe right, it was a little loose. This one however, absolutely does not budge. It's metal except for the tightening knob, oddly enough. But still very sturdy. A decent amount larger in size than the others i tried, but i don't mind considering how solid it is. It's a silver metal, thought it might stand out too much on the black camera so i spray painted it black really quick! Took the paint well and looks great. Highly recommend this mount for your 5 to 7 inch monitors. In my experience, anything cheaper IS cheaper and you'll risk having your monitor flopping around at the wrong time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my need I use this swivel to hold an external monitor on the hot shoe mount of my Canon 5. After purchasing a plastic one that broke on first use, this has solved the problem. The ball is large and knurled, so when the knob is tightened, it holds without slipping. My only concern is the hot shoe on the camera might not be strong enough to support the combined weight of the monitor and swivel. So far so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent replacement! Purchased this to replace the cheap one that came with my LCD light. Very heavy duty and locks down with no problems. The one that came with my light was very small and the ball that it locks down to was smooth and it would loosen up all the time. This one is much larger and the ball has grooves in it that make it easier to lock down to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beefy and Good. Used for Larger LCD display attached on a Broadcast Camera. Worked well, easy adjustment, retained settings despite weight of LCD. Chosen over other like models on B&H because of sturdy all metal construction. Made camera set up for production far superior to viewfinder or onbord LCD.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from all metal, really sturdy This is what I was looking for to hold my field monitors. I had issues with some other swivels not being able to hold monitors at various angles. I was nervous about having a plastic bracket at the bottom and it breaking under the weight of the monitor. This should do the job

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SOLID That's the main thing you want in a product like this right? The product is only valuable if it is strong, and this is. I'm using it on a DLSR to hold an Atomos Ninja Blade and I believe it could hold a lot more.
