    QuikLok BS-300 reviews

    BS-300 - 5-Position Adjustable Speaker Stand is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sturdy, yes. Engineered well, no. I needed a sturdy, adjustable speaker stand for my home stereo system. This sturdy, long lasting, made of steel stand does the trick. Yet, the non-marring feet did not thread into the bottom and I was forced to use the steel spikes that came with the unit. The stand has a round pole connected to a triangular base. It was hard to get it to stand up straight, no matter how much I cursed at it. Maybe the Chinese should have gone with a square post mated to the current base. Hmmm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Good Speaker Stands These Quiklok BS-300 Speaker Stands Are Ok They Hold My M-Audio Monitor Speakers Pretty Well. But Anything Heavier Would Make The Stands Unstable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not worth the money You really get the feeling that the people at QuikLok scribbled down a design then rang up their friends in China to make 100,000 units without making a prototype or any testing. There are so many small flaws in this stand which really show a real lack of care in both the design and production. 1) The plastic feet on the stands do not readily fit the thread in the base, the metal spikes didn't fit either because thread was clogged with the black paint. 2) Some of the spikes can not be adjusted in height because the thread on the spikes themselves had lumps of metal fused on them. 3) The supplied clips to keep the cables neat and tidy are made from very thin and very brittle plastic, they break while trying to attach them to pole. 4) The vertical supporting pole wobbles precariously at the highest height setting so you'll need to go one height setting lower. 5) When the item arrived, the screws to fit the base pole to the triangle stand were the wrong type and thread size. They sent me replacement screws which were the right size however needed a different sized hex-key to the one provided: 2 different sized keys to tighten 2 screws and you have to supply 1 of the keys yourself surely you can do better than that! Save a little more and buy a different stand, these are not worth the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low price, low bang for the buck Gotta love the price, but the triangle base is stupid, the stand over-all is not perfectly straight, the rubber balancing feet are very difficult to thread and offer very little adjust when actually threaded. The adjustment notches are way too wide apart and don't even match the settings of older-model QuikLok stands. Overall it's ok for the money but I would spring for a better stand next time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Heavy but Quirks This is built with heavy metal. Adjusting height with the plastic screws work but is to slow and painstaking. For a permanent height you sre allright but if you are to change heights regukarly I would buy the Samson. I bought these for the price and didn't realize I was only getting one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rugged budget speaker stands I use these stands to support a pair of bookshelf speakers in my living room. If you're looking for a pair of rugged, sturdy stands for less than $100, these stands work well. But the stands do look very much like metal objects and not a piece of furniture.l

Rated 1 out of 5 by from speaker stands ok if you don't move it too much the really bad thing is the screw to fix the height. It is not completely fixed or bolt, it s just the weight of the speaker that locks it. Don't feel that that reliable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Stand for Near Field Monitors Needed low cost speaker stands for home studio near field monitors. Easy to set up and position. When I get more high end monitors I may add more high end stands. For now, they work just right.
