Focus Flood
  • Change the setting from "spot" to "flood" position, or anywhere in between by turning knob on side of unit.
  • It has a focus range of 5:1 with optional FVL 200 watt lamp.
  • Easy Access
The front end comes off for easy access for no-tool lamp change.
    Multi-Use Source
Substituting the prismatic glass for the optional clear glass turns light into a non-focusing, high intensity spotlight, for long throw situations.

Is it bad to leave these lights on for 2+ hours? Will the heat damage them or is that not a thing?
    Asked by: Nikolas
The light fixture may not have a problem, but be cautious of the attachments and surroundings to make they can withstand the heat.

You can use the Sylvania / Osram GLF (235W/230V) Lamp, B&H # SYGLF in each lamp head and add a Watson Adapter Plug - 3-Prong USA to 3-Prong Australia/Argentina (Type I), B&H # WATAGUSAA to each power cable for use in Australia. https://bhpho.to/2m2CZRB https://bhpho.to/2ko0HHL

    question

I'll be using this to light still life painting. . . is there the ability to adjust the light intensity?
    Asked by: Anonymous
The Lowel ViP Pro-Light does not have built-in dimming control capability. If you need to dim the light output from this light fixture, I would recommend purchasing the Impact D1000 1,000W AC Dimmer Control (110-120V), B&H # IMD1000, for your usage needs.

    Asked by: wale
The Lowel Power Cable for Pro-light- 1' B&H # LOC4PIPL in addition to using a lamp like Impact GCC Lamp (100W/12V) B&H # IMGCC, would allow for 12V battery operation on the Lowel Pro Light.

    question

What kind of gels can be used with this light?
    Asked by: Wendy C.
Standard theatrical gels can be used if they are in an appropriate frame and not clipped to the light itself. I believe Lowel makes a gel frame and a flexible arm that should work.
