Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice on a Sigma DP2 I was looking for a good viewfinder on my Sigma DP2. The original viewfinder was a little to expensive in the Netherlands, so I began a search. I found this one on a French site and was a lot cheaper. The quality is much higher, brighter and bigger. I must say that on such a little camera the size is to big, I also own a DP1 with the Sigma viewfinder and I leave it on. This one is to big to fit in the pouch. It is very nice to compose, but on a compact where you have to look on the LCD to see the area you set the sharpness and with no information in the viewfinder, it still get a lot to get used on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great compliment to the Fuji 27mm I've pretty much permanently put the Fuji 27mm on an X-M, which gives a very versatile 40mm equivalent focal length. The combo makes a very compact system with great IQ. The viewfinder is useful for those times when it's too sunny for the LCD screen or when I'm just carrying the camera. The only downside is that I can't put the camera in a jacket pocket with the viewfinder on, but that's true of any viewfinder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Voigtlander viewfinder This viewfinder is a perfect fit for my Panasonic GF1 with a 20mm lens. Allows me not to have to use the camera screen, especially in bright sunny days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well on Sigma DP2 Merrill Very bright and clear view. Took me a day of shooting to adjust for the slightly larger frame size compared to DP2's angle of view, and now I can crop 100% tight. Great accessory: in bright light I just use it instead of the LCD, with no frustrations about limited visibility. In low light it comes handy as well as it helps me shoot with camera close to my face, thus more stable. Either way, I already noticed increase in battery life, since I keep the LCD off most of the time. (somehow, it disciplined me not to peek at each individual snapshot, after taking it - like in good old film days). One star missing: hard to see the frame if you are wearing glasses. Also, slightly loose when slid into the Sigma's hot shoe, but I did also notice that with the flash previously - nothing a small piece of paper can't fix. Most sincerely recommended to all DP2 users.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent 40mm Viewfinder This is by far the best external viewfinder I have used. It is large, bright and easy to use. The bright lines are clearly visible, even at night, with minimum light to illuminate them. Could not recommend this enough!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works like it should ... I use this on my Sony RX1 - it give's me a tighter crop than I'm really getting from the camera. ( a bit of a built in safety ) Works great when the sunlight or spontanity trump the rear LCD.
