Keys to the City from Ilio is a sample library featuring synthesizer and keyboard grooves from keyboardist Michael Bearden, organized into multi-tracked compositions. The grooves are provided both as complete mixes and individual elements for added flexibility and will fit perfectly into any dance, hip hop, R n'B, pop, funk or electronica composition.
The grooves are separated into five sections. "Bass-ment" grooves are all individual bass lines that can be used alone or to accompany "Studio" loops which are single layer comps, "Duplex," which are dual layer grooves, "Triplex," three layer grooves, or "Penthouse", which contain four or more layered parts. Most of the grooves are played live and have a natural and fluid musical feel.
This library has been compiled to work with Roland hardware samplers. The library also includes Acid format grooves that allow the user to change the key and tempo of the grooves to match the particular tempo of a song.
