Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small Item That Makes a Big Difference I run this cable from my mixer bag to my K-Tek boom with CCR side exit. It's the perfect length, and just the right degree of springiness, to allow for unrestricted movement, while still managing itself well without tangling, dragging, or catching on things. And the Neutrik connectors are an absolute pleasure to use. I'd avoided getting one of these cables for years, because they're pricey, compared to straight cables. But now that I have this one, I can say it's worth every penny. On a long day of shooting, anything that improves performance and stamina, while lowering stress levels is worth the investment. This cable is no exception.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Rode boom pole conversion I got this to see if it would fit inside my Rode 6 foot boom pole and it does, tight squeeze and only goes in from one end, but it works. So now I have a short boom with internal coiled cable that makes using the pole much nicer than before without having to wrap a mic cable around the pole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the price and quality. Use with Rode boom pole and cable doesnt bang against pole in high wind. Smoothly raps around pole and extends up to 9 feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MUCH Easier to Manage I have a K-Tek boom pole, side exit internal coil. Adding an XLR cable to it heading to a mixer bag I'm wearing always resulted in either too little cable getting in the way of my movements or too much cable getting tangled or hung up. This is the perfect solution: a cable that keeps itself neat and short when you're near the mixer, but can extend from floor to overhead if you need it to. The short length when coiled (about 1.5 foot) is short enough that the usual coiled cable tangle is avoided. LOVE it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I Was Weary At First I was so excited to get this in the mail and finally ditch my long XLR cable I normally used. When I received it I remember thinking it wouldn't be long enough. I decided to test it out with my chest rig and then I was assured that it was indeed the perfect length. I dock it a star because I still think it's rather pricey. But it's going to get the job done. Worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turned my old boom into a new boom I have an old, aluminum boom with no cable. It was a pain to take it apart to run one through at the beginning of every shoot. I found this, I put it in, not booming is way easier (or as easy as it really gets). A little pricey, but it helped me from having to buy a new boom pole. Can't hear a peep from it either.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Coiled Cable For Sound Mixers This cable is high quality and I use it to go from my mixer bag to the boom pole - it works great though due to it's coiled nature it can be easy to twist this thing and break it. It's easy to repair but if you're getting this cable.. keep in mind that you'll have to be careful how you handle it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Length is better than expected This works well. I love neutrik. I'm concerned the cable head may not last as long as I'd like due to the way I'm conveniently plugging it into the side exit of my boom but so far so good after a few weeks. The length of cable is perfect for my bag work.
