question

does the top piece unscrew? What is the recommended base?
Asked by: Anonymous
No, it is a continuous single piece. Both ends are threaded with standard microphone connections, one end male other female (5/8-27 I believe).

question

What's the difference between this and the gooseneck extension?
Asked by: Anonymous
There is no difference between this and a gooseneck extension-just in the terminology.

question

Can you run a cable thru it?i.e. assume I have custom mounts both ends that allow a cable to pass thru - I like to run cables out of site.Thank you.
Asked by: Graham
You should be able to run a cable through it as long as it doesn't have connectors on the ends.
