#029 Super Collapsible Background (8x16', Brown, Gold, Gray) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from clever idea; not what I needed This backdrop seemed like a good idea but you really need a high ceiling to get it to set up properly. I tried to use it for corporate headshots in a conference room with 8' ceilings and while I got it to work it really wasn't right. I set it up later in an area with higher ceilings and it worked better, but was flimsy enough that I would probably just as soon set up my stands, pole and fabric backdrop for a full-fledged portrait session. I also found the color was a lot lighter than I expected. I'll be trying the 5x7 collapsible for my location corporate headshots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I WOULD BUY THIS PRODUCT OVER AND OVER! I found it to be very easy to use and saves time when changing back drops. The fabric is very nice and easy to clean. I love the bag it comes in great for storage too! They are re easy to throw in the car and take to shoots and there aren't heavy and cumbersome like a full backdrop set can be. I have nothing bad to say about these backdrops I have purchased 5 so far and may get more!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but not perfect I recently ordered this product. I'm pretty happy with it, because it is constructed well and is made of good material. It is nice and large, as described and can sweep out onto the floor for head to toe shots. However, there are a few things to be aware of before you decide on it. Things that might not be so apparent from the photo. Because of the large size, even when it is folded up (into a nice bag that it comes in) it is still plenty large... larger than I would have guessed. I thought maybe it would loop back into itself 1 more time and get a little smaller I guess, but the folded size is a disc of about 38 or so. Not a major problem, that's pretty compact considering how big when deployed, but something to be aware of. The other thing I was surprised about was that even with the frame, it is a bit too droopy to be self supporting. The frame pulls the fabric taut, but doesn't quite have the rigidity to be free standing if you try to lean it up against a wall. You just need to help it out a little by clipping it to a light stand or two. Doesn't require a full background stand (although that wouldn't hurt.) The frame hods it pretty tight, but you may want to hit it lightly with a steamer as it gets a lot of little wrinkles from being folded up. The last thing to be aware of is that the color is lighter than I would have guessed. That is always a hard thing to judge from a product photo, but I thought it would be a richer chocolate kind of dark brown (and gold). In reality it is more of a tan brown... several shades lighter than what I hoped. That being said, it is a good looking, marbled earth tone pattern and depending on how you light it, you can get it to fall off into the shadows more. But to have a realistic expectation about the color, think of the dark spots as being more like the light spots in the photo.
