Chimera 5630 Overview

The Chimera High Definition ENG Fabric Kit is a totally portable 48x48" reflector kit, with six fabric panels, ready for mounting to your C Stands, or heavy duty light stands and grip clamps.

Each of the aluminum alloy shock-corded frames has reinforced corners. The corners host the quick-release tabs that allow fast set up and take down. Diffusion fabrics include 1/2 and 1/4 Grid diffusion. Neutral Density fabrics include a Single and a Double Bobinette scrim. Reversible fabric panels include black/white and silver/gold. A storage duffel bag is also included.

May be used with 2 stands for full range of angles, or with one stand with angle adjustment limitations

The kit will break down to a box 21" x 10" x 1". It might be on the borderline for carry on. You will want to check with your carrier or the TSA.

What does 2-Connectors mean? Do these break down into 2' sections?

The frames have a bungee cord running through them which allows for fast set up and break down. It does not allow the frame to be broken down into two separate sections. The connectors in this kit allows you to combine the two frame together in the shape of a V . This is useful when you need to bounce light into the reflective surfaces.
