    Leica 14312 reviews

Carrying Strap with Anti-Slip Pad for R and M Series Cameras is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 76.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from An AMAZING MINIMALIST Strap! Let me tell you that this strap is perfect for rangefinder sized and mirrorless cameras. Here is why, 1) MINIMALIST. The strap is consists of five parts, one rubber pad, two nylon straps, two metal hooks, and two plastic hook covers/locks. THATS IT! 2) NO BULK. I hate straps that take up huge space when stowed away. This strap is almost unnoticeable when wrapped up. 3) DURABLE All materials are of very high quality, minimal parts means less chance of parts failure, and not to mention its a Leica strap. 4) COMFORTABLE. Since the strap is very lightweight, it is comfortable to wear and does not get in the way. 5) ADJUSTABLE. The two nylon straps can be customized to separate lengths. I am using this strap on a Fuji X-T1 and a Fuji X100S. I am very satisfied.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could damage camera body I have two of these. Installation is not intuitive & may take a few tries to get it faced the right way. The hard plastic retainers right next to the camera body could damage the camera under some conditions, as happened to my Leicaflex SL. Split rings would be simpler & the metal clips & plastic retainers can be demolished to install them, though split rings tend to chew up the eyelets a bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leica Camera Strap is Worth the Cost The standard Leica camera carrying strap is a perfect product. It does what is is supposed to do with comfort and it does not get in your way. Easy and very secure to mount on the camera lugs. I'll buy this strap for every camera I use, even if not a Leica. This strap does not advertise itself with large, bright eye-catching brand names. Only works with traditional camera strap lugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All you need, nothing you don't I use this strap on a lightweight OM1 with primes only, so keep that in mind if you have a digital bazooka, this probably won't work for you. I love how simple this strap is, yet it's fully adjustable (but not very quickly). It's small and lightweight, so it stays out of your way, and the nylon won't get stiff in the cold, unlike similar plastic/leather OEM straps. The big rubber patch is fixed, which initially annoyed me, but it has enough grip to hold the camera in place, even when it's not perched atop your shoulder. Also, the lugs are metal, but with plastic fittings so it's still sturdy, but won't mark up your camera. For smaller cameras, this is the perfect strap!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Shoulder Strap for Leica This strap works perfectly as a shoulder strap which is how I use it. It's very light. It has an ingenious connection system which employs a plastic sleeve over the metal part that connects to the lugs to prevent scratching the camera. It seems totally bullet-proof. The small rubber pad has nubs on one side that really helps it stay put when draped on my shoulder. The other side of the rubber pad (shown in the picture) has Leica protruding very slightly from the rubber. It's actually quite hard to see the Leica in general use - nothing like the typical gaudy Canon or Nikon strap. It's only so-so as a neck strap, but I don't generally like neck straps anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stays out of your way If you have a camera with the old style lugs you cannot do better than this strap. Yes, it is very simple, but that is why it is so good. There are no metal parts to scrape and bang on your camera, no jangly clips and no fancy features to get in your way.The no-slip pad works great and the entire strap is soft and collapses and folds on itself nicely when you need to jam your camera back into the bag. The metal clips that attach to the camera are nicely covered by sliding plastic sleeves.I own a Leica M4-P and I hesitated getting this to begin with because it seemed too cheesy to also have a Leica-brand strap, but this is really great for those who are interested in a product that does the job well and stays out of the picture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice strap, but feel not that suited for I got this for use with an OM-D as I heard other's had used it with it nicely. However, unless I am doing something wrong, it doesn't attach very easily without feeling going to bend metal connector and/or scratch camera. Once on, is ok though - but not that quick to take off/put on as I was hoping. But realise it is not the camera it was designed for. I don't think right for me, but I stink still a good strap for others. Oh, and the product photo is, ironically, quite lousy. The rubber no slip mat looks much higher quality in real life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Form follows function This strap just works with minimal fuss I bought two of these to use on Fuji X100 and Sigma DP2s Ingenious metal clip connectors allow attachment of the webbing without fiddly split rings Rubber covers slide down over the metal clips holding them shut and protecting your camera against scratching Easy to adjust the length Suitable for small- medium cameras Low key styling is good - the Leica name is moulded into the rubber shoulder piece and doesnt stand out Recommended for use with cameras with the eyelet type attachment points
