Thermometer, Combined Scale is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great For Tray Development This thermometer is best used for keeping an eye on the temperature of your print developer. Unlike a metal dial thermometer, this one can be viewed from directly above the tray, and it has an adjustable rubber piece you can move up and down, to keep the thermometer from falling into the tray. For measuring the temperature of a liquid in a beaker or bottle, a dial thermometer would be more convenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate and Durable I purchased this because I prefer using this type of thermometer when I am mixing my chemicals. I like that it is a longer thermometer and you can gently stir your chemicals to make sure that the temperature is evenly distributed. It is easy to clean and I like the little rubber triangle on the end to keep it from rolling off the cabinet. The little plastic container it came in is handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like this Thermometer After I opened the package and I first looked at it, I was disappointed that the scale is in 2 degree increments. But when I used it, I discovered that, even with my bad eyesight, it was easy to read the scale every one degree. In fact, I can estimate half degrees also. The advantage is that it stabilizes very quickly - just a few seconds. So it is great taking a fast reading of the developer just before time is up to determine whether additional development is necessary. It makes having a dial thermometer obsolete. So for the price I think this is a great thermometer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced Digital I bought this to replace the digital one i was using because this is easier around water. I was thinking it would be slower but its really fast. And i can stir the chemicals at the same time. It works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT MEASUREMENT Works perfect and it's quickly. Others thermometers spent more time until stop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not accurate I purchased this thermometer to use for film developing. Straight from the package the thermometer was reading the room temperature above normal. I thought about sending it back but decided to try it anyway. Even with cool water temperatures, the thermometer did not dip below 70 degrees. Perhaps my thermometer is faulty but I would not recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its a thermometer.... It works... This is a back up to a digital thermometer... This is used to ensure my digital is working.
