KS Jr. Light Stand (7.6') is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Light Stand I purchased 3 of these Lowel light stands for use with my Arri 650, 300, and 150 Fresnels. I have been working freelance in broadcast industry for a couple of years and several long time camera guys I work with use these stands. They are solid stands but I wouldn't use anything bigger than a 1K on them. They can support a short boom arm and sandbags. They are as sturdy as the Arri lightstands but don't slip as much. They fold to a nice compact size and fit diagonally in my Pelican 1650.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They are OK Over the years, I have used Lowel stands in all sizes for many instruments. They tend to do the job, BUT, the locking knob structures are the first part to fail. Or weaken over time, or become difficult to tighten. Of course, that is the only active part of the device. But in addition, the locking knobs themselves could be bigger and more durable, I think. This could be so much better with a little more heft built into a redesign.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good quality, but maybe something else I really like the cast aluminum parts. I have a couple of these to use with flashes and one monolight. I with it had more spread on the ground because these have gone down a couple times with a light breeze blowing. They will definitely last a while but for the price I think one can find better. Great for indoor location or a quick set up in the studio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Compact Stand I was putting together a portable video lighting kit and needed stands that were strong enough to hold Rifa 66 Ex softboxes, yet still compact enough to fit into a single lighting case. These stands were a perfect fit for the job. Beautiful gun-metal finish too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great find!! I have purchased this product twice now and love it. It is easy to attach and very sturdy when you make sure one of the feet are aligned with the top heavy light! I am very pleased with how the pictures turn out. I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just a very good light stand I bought the stand to replace the one I lost. This stand unfolds and folds up nicely, I like that the legs are flat and not tubes. Very well made and the locking nuts work very well no slipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Stand We purchased this stand to go with the Lowell softbox light. This is the second one of these stands we have. It's very durable and sets up and breaks-down easily.
