    Canon 100-DG Digital reviews

100-DG Digital Gadget Bag (Black) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another durable Canon product I like this bag, for the most part it holds most of my gear. I'm new to SLR photography and my list of gear is growing rapidly (Finding out what I need and dont). This bag holds my Rebel XTi,18-55 EF-S,50mm 1.4 EF,Lensbaby 3G in hard shell case,100-300mm 4.5-5.6 EF,extra pocket cam in case, both chargers for both cameras, all my cords,my cleaning kit, manual, lens filters, and still room for more. In the laptop compartment I have a folder for notes and gel filters. There is a removable storage for mem cards and discs. two extra pockets in the to flap for small things like batteries, pen, manual, cards, etc.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good bag but needs improvements I bought this bag after first purchasing a Gorilla bag for my Canon 60D and equipment. The Gorilla bag was a bit too small for everything I had but was overall a better made bag than this one by Canon. Unlike the Gorilla, which used a zipper AND straps to close the top, the Canon only uses straps and velcro, which is not strong enough to hold heavy equipment if the strap buckles eventually wear down or break. This is a serious flaw in the design because everything hinges on those strap buckles, which are part metal part plastic. Other than that the bag is quality and spacious and fits all my gear way better than the Gorilla, including a nice space for a laptop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for. I ordered 3 bags to compare. I kept this one over the canon 10EG and 200DG. The 200DG was much too big for me. The 10EG was just a slightly larger version of what I already had. The corners on the 10EG are rounded making it a little inconvneient to access lenses. The EG is also not as structured. The 100DG which I kept was boxier with more structure and padding. It can hold a canon EOS rebel body with e lens attached and 3 more lenses. There are enough zippered pockets to hold batteries, charger and computer cords. A nice surprise was the straps on the bottom which can hold a collapsed tripod. The dividers inside the bag are Velcro so they are easy to reconfigure to your needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge Bag This bag is much bigger than it looks. It's essentially a small, sturdy duffle bag for a camera and toys. They say it can fit a laptop, and it seems that it could fit many laptops, but mine would not actually fit, since it's 17 inch screen. But I think a 15 inch screen laptop would probably fit. (Haven't tried it myself.) However, it will fit just about anything else you want to put in it. Certainly a large array of camera gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from plenty of room This bag had plenty of room for what I had. It holds my 30D EOS, 3 lenses, a flash, 2 batteries, charger, flash card, filters, camera guide, hood. And I still have room in the smaller pockets.I would recomend this product to anybody just getting started. GREAT BUY!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality bag! The main compartment holds my full size DSLR with battery grip, three lenses, and an assortment of other odds and ends. It is a fantastic bag made with superior quality. Only wish it was slightly bigger to be able to hold my Fong diffusers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great carry all Great bag for transitioning from beginner to serious amatuer/semi-pro. Carries my digital Rebel XT (with the BG-E3 batter grip and a tripod mount attached) and 35mm Rebel, Cannon speedlite 380EX, and two lenses (EF 35-80mm f4-5.6, EF 75-300mm f4-5.6 III), along with the extra battery holder for the BG-E3 grip in the main pouch no problem. Mesh pouch in the top carries batter charger, manuals, AC adapter, and a small rocket air blower. Front pocket is great for filters, pens/pencils and a notebook, cables, extra canon batteries, and CF cards and the two side pockets are still left over for lens cleaning stuff, film, and extra AA batteries. Won't fit much more for lenses unless I dump the 35mm body. The strap is prefectly paded and is long enough to sling it over your head and flip it around so the bag will stay on your butt and out of the way if you're walking about shooting. Velcro on the spot where the top flap folds over the inner compartment gives an added sense of security over just the two clips and prevents it from flipping open and getting dumped accidentally. Plenty of dividers included. Paid just as much somewhere else without getting the custom media case. Good buy for when it's time to get serious and you want to keep your investment protected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from better than expected I use this as my lens bag when shooting weddings - it contains a 70-200/2.8, 24-70/2.8, 2 600ex flashes, AA's, flash trigger, extension tube and a small light stand. I could probably cram another lens in there if needed. The two bodies plus two lenses are worn. I would have been happy to pay more but this fit my needs perfectly - once you try and find something with a tripod/lightstand holder, your choices narrow quite a bit.
