This pouch works well for doing what it's intended for: securing a bodypack transmitter/receiver to either an arm or a similar object. I've used a couple of these for attaching wireless mics to various wind instruments (trumpet, baritone, tuba, saxophone) and they have worked well. The one problem I've encountered is the shape of the pouch itself. It is shorter than most bodypacks I have used with it, so the neoprene stretches quite a bit over the top of the transmitter. This can make it difficult to quickly connect the TA4F mic connector to the bodypack because the neoprene gets in the way. However, the pouch does have slightly more depth than most bodypacks need, so there is extra material to stretch across the top.
I cut the armband strap completely off, then gaff tape the pouch to my guitar strap.
