The Lowel Snoot for the DP Light reduces the beam-angle, creating a soft-edged circle of light. This snoot rotates 360° for each scenario; it requires either the Complete Barndoor Set (D220) or the Barndoor Frame (D221) for mounting.

Spring tab mounts the snoot onto the barndoor frame.

Snoot for DP Light is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertised. If you are looking for a snoot then you need no introduction to what it is for. This Lowel snoot works on the Lowel DP light perfectly. Having said that I ended up sending it back to get the revised version which has a more narrow opening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as it should, but... Ok, I can't fault the equipment, and I knew from pictures that the snoot would not limit light as much as I would have ultimately desired. However, it's built well, and it's a good tool, bearing in mind that it does provide a bit more focus to the DP than there otherwise would be. I would hope that Lowel would create a snoot that acts more like a snoot should (in my opinion), one that narrows the beam a bit more. How 'bout this? How 'bout an AFFORDABLE line of snoots that give a range of light limiting ability (or maybe a grid system like Alien Bees)?
