Having bought a Coronado SolarMax 40 filter for your telescope, you might wonder if there is any more to be seen. In fact, there is- with two hydrogen-alpha filters in place using the Doublestack Adapter Plate, plus the Doppler Tuning Unit and the Double Stacking Narrowband Filter, one can observe events which are even more sun-specific. The assembly functions by precisely varying the alignment of the two filters less than 0.7 degrees using a rotary actuator to modulate wavelengths passed through the telescope.
