The Lectrosonics 400 Series wireless microphone systems combine digital hybrid technology, diversity reception and rugged components to achieve pristine audio signals at long range. This system includes the UCR411A camera mountable receiver and HM Digital Hybrid plug-in transmitter.
The UCR411A is a portable, camera mountable receiver designed for professional audio applications in the field or indoors. The receiver is completely compatible with all 400 series wireless transmitters and provides 256 selectable UHF frequencies across a 25.6MHz tuning range. Smart Diversity reception reduces RF interference and dropout and a built-in RF spectrum analyzer searches across the entire 25.6MHz tuning range, locating the strongest possible frequencies in the area. The clear frequencies are marked and displayed on the backlit LCD. Balanced XLR output provides maximum output gain with minimal noise and the receiver is powered with internal 9V batteries or external DC power supply.
The HM Digital Hybrid Plug-in Transmitter is a UHF transmitter with 256 user selectable UHF frequencies and digital hybrid signal transmission for optimum range while minimizing noise. Incoming audio signal is digitized at 24-bit resolution, eliminating the noise and artifacts associated with analog compandors. The result is greater range with minimal noise. Its XLR input is compatible with any microphone or cable featuring an XLR connection. The input level is variable, allowing use with low impedance mics and line level devices. The receiver features a comprehensive LCD and low cut filter. A full 100mW output power is achieved on a single 9V battery.

Built-In RF Analyzer
An internal RF spectrum analyzer searches the entire 25.6MHz range for frequencies most suitable for use in your area. Clear frequencies are then displayed on the LCD.
The UCR411 uses Lectrosonic's Smart Diversity design for even further protection against RF interference and signal dropout.
The HM Digital UHF Wireless Plug-On Microphone Transmitter from Lectrosonics enables you to transmit the signal of any XLR microphone wirelessly. The HM transmitter overcomes inherent channel noise with its patented Digital Hybrid Wireless technology, which digitally encodes the audio. Digital conversion before transmission provides all of the benefits of conventional FM wireless systems, (range, resistance to interference, etc) without the noisy artifacts introduced by analog compandors.
The HM transmitter provides 256 user-selectable UHF frequencies. The input amplifier uses an ultra low noise op-amp for quiet operation. Gain controlled with a wide range dual envelope limiter, it provides over 30 dB of headroom above full modulation. A 24-bit A-D converter digitizes the audio, then filters supersonic noise above 21 kHz.
HM transmitters are backwards compatible with Lectrosonics 100, 200, and IFB series receivers; as well as being compatible with third-party analog receivers. Phantom power from its XLR input jack is selectable between 5, 18 and 48 volts, making the HM compatible with just about any condenser or dynamic microphone. It's powered by two AA lithium, NiMH, or alkaline batteries for up to 12.75 hours of use, with Phantom Power engaged (lithium).
The sound quality of the HM transmitter is outstanding. The power supply provides constant voltages, switching to accommodate the life-cycle of the batteries, resulting in an ultra low noise input amplifier. The excellent signal to noise ratio and dynamic range of the HM qualify it for use in the most demanding of professional applications.
The HM transmitter uses ±75 kHz wide deviation for an excellent signal to noise ratio and wide dynamic range.
Digital Hybrid Wireless Technology
Audio is encoded in the transmitter and decoded in the receiver, overcoming channel noise, yet still sending the encoded information via an analog FM wireless link.
Low Frequency Roll-Off
The low frequency roll-off can be set for a 3 dB down point at 35, 50 or 70 Hz to control low frequency rumble and ambient noise in the audio.
A DSP-controlled limiter is employed before the analog-to-digital converter. The limiter has a range of more than 30 dB for excellent overload protection. A dual release envelope makes the limiter acoustically transparent while maintaining low distortion.
The HM transmitter is powered by two AA batteries, yet still maintains long battery life, even with 48V Phantom Power engaged; up to 12.75 hours with Lithium batteries.
