Preemie Baby Stand is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Location Shoots I searched for a long time for a light stand that met all my needs. I needed something that was heavy duty enough to hold my ProPhoto B1s with modifiers, was lightweight and compact enough to fit in my luggage and not put me over the weight limit at the airport ticket counter, and could be used in-studio as well. This light stand is the only one I could find that even came close to meeting all of my needs. It's about 5 lb., and fits easily in a standard large suitcase. It's extremely well built and rugged, and has no problem with the weight I throw at it. It would be nice if it extended a little higher, but meets my needs 95% of the time, so it's a welcome trade off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite light stand. I own a variety of different Matthews stands and other grip equipment. This stands works best for me doing table top product work since it comes down low to the table height. I use Dyna-Lite strobe heads on it with Chimera soft boxes most of the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stand I like Matthews stands a lot. They're well designed, indestructible, stable. This one holds a Broncolor Unilite which is just above eye level with the stand fully extended. Recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built like a tank I needed the shortest folded size combined with the highest weight capacity combined with a rebuildable construction and studio qauality for on the road. Matthews comes through. The square edges are a bit hard on the hands but the durability and weight capacity sold me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1000.00 light head, on a cheap stand?? I'm comfortable putting expensive lighting instruments on these when a C Stand isn't an option.
