A PC (Post Connection) Cord connects a camera to a flash head, or monolight, enabling the flash to fire at the instant the shutter button is pressed. Many cameras do not have a PC terminal to connect this cord. If so, an additional Hot Shoe Adapter must be used, to provide the necessary terminal.

This is an extra long, 30 ft straight MINI to Male PC sync cord.

Sync Cord - Mini to Male PC - 30' is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A perfect back up I'll never be without This is the perfect cord for regular use, or an indispensable back up for radio transmitters. The mini male PC holds the best of any cord I've used, it's heavier than average wire, and best of all, it's red to reduce the trip hazard. Thirty feet might seem long, but likely it's 5' from your camera to the floor, and 6' up to the flash. That leaves about 18' (one foot is coiled, so if someone does snag it, the coil will take up the pull). That is a nice amount to work with, especially if you want to use a telephoto on a face or need to photograph more than one person. This is always going with me to back up my transmitters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made accessory What I like most about this sync cord is that it is brightly colored. This is handy for avoiding accidents where people trip over the sync cord, bringing your camera gear crashing to the floor. I shoot a lot of event on location and find that this extra bit of safety brings peace of mind. The sync cord is well constructed and I'm sure will provide years of service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really needed a quality cord i'm just a beginner when it comes to studio photography and i didn't want to spend more money on a wireless trigger system. this cord was my answer as i needed to replace the 12' cord one of my monolights came with. the red color is helpful and twisted end helps the cord stay in place. just last night i flipped the cord over my shoulder and walked around my set with camera in hand without a problem. it's a relief not worry about not seeing the cord or having to constantly have to deal with it falling out of the camera.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what you may think I use this product in the studio, it is just too long and gets tangled. I thought the entire length of the cord was coiled. It is not. Other than that, it works fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a cord! I accidentally ordered the wrong cord (wrong connector on one end), but that's not fault of B&H or the manufacturer of the cord. I'm going to keep it anyway, because soon I will have other gear that will work with it (I'll use adapters till then). Only the last foot or so is coiled, which is what I was looking for - so that's good. 30' makes for a very long cord (nice)! The red color should help a lot in avoiding accidents. The PC end is the non-locking type, so be aware of that. No big deal for me, but it may be important to some. Construction of the cord looks very good - thickness is just right. Not so thin that you have to worry about breaking it, not so thick that it's hard to use. Flexible, yet durable. Since I haven't actually used it yet, I can't really give it 5 stars... I guess I shouldn't even be writing this review... From a durability standpoint, it looks very good. Workmanship and materials look/feel very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid sync cable Not too much to explain. It's a cable, does exactly what you would expect. Nice heavy construction, verrrrry long, well made. The red coating is a plus to keep you from tripping over it while you're shooting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from heavy duty Replace the factory cable on my impact set. The stock cable was cheep. This one is much more sturdy. Wished they made one a little shorter. 30' is a little much for me. 20' would be better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy product I gave this only 4 stars because the PC connection isn't very tight. Everything else is fine. High visibility.
