The kit eliminates the guess work involved in accessorizing a broadcast microphone for radio booths, voice-over studios, etc.

  • Rode Broadcaster Condenser Microphone

    The Broadcaster Condenser Microphone from RODE is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone that features a true full-range response especially suited for voice-over use.

    It has an emphasized proximity effect and features an internal pop filter, designed to minimize plosive sounds that can overload the microphone capsule and distort the audio output. In addition to the native 20 Hz-20 kHz response, a selectable high-pass filter at 75 Hz is available to prevent low-end noise, such as air conditioners and traffic, from being recorded.

    The Broadcaster features an 'On-Air' indicator on the body that can be wired for external activation by the 'Channel On/Mute' function on many consoles. If not connected to a console or switch, the indicator will remain lit whenever the microphone has power.

    The Auray BAI-2X is a two-section broadcast arm with internal springs and an integrated XLR cable. This versatile and sturdy broadcast arm is great for studio as well as home use. It's ideal for broadcast, voiceover, and podcasts.

    The BAI-2X broadcast arm is designed with internal springs that provide a clean and sleek look. The internal balance springs are precision engineered to support and hold in place microphones of up to 5 lb. (2.27 kg). The design also minimizes handling noise when re-positioning the arm. The broadcast arm features a standard 5/8"-27 microphone stud mount that is compatible with most shockmounts and microphone clips. The angle of the microphone stud mount can be adjusted and secured with the locking knob, and the angle is maintained when re-positioning the arm. This eliminates the need to readjust it every time the arm is moved. With an extension of up to 40 inches, and the ability to rotate the arm 360°, the BAI-2X allows for precise microphone placement.

    The BAI-2X also features a heavy-duty combo mount that consists of a sturdy C-clamp and a heavy-metal desktop mount. The C-clamp is capable of fastening onto desktops up to 2.3" thick. The C-clamp's slim design minimizes the clearance needed to mount it between a desk and wall. The desktop mount detaches from the C-clamp and provides the option of permanent installation to a desktop with the mounting screws (included). A 14" riser is included for adding height to the broadcast arm in order to extend over computer or studio monitors.

  • Auray WCF-UB440 Foam Windscreen for Large Diaphragm Condenser Mics

    The Auray WCF-UB440 Foam Windscreen for the Senal UB-440 is made from specialty acoustic foam designed to reduce broadband wind noise with minimal high frequency loss. The density of the foam is optimized to help protect the microphone element from vocal plosives and wind pressure without dramatically muffling the sound.

    This windscreen is effective indoors for protection against drafts caused by air-conditioners and can be used in calm to light outdoor breeze conditions (0-7mph). It also reduces vocal plosives in close microphone placement situations. Users can generally expect a 4dB to 8dB reduction in wind noise, with very slight dampening of high frequencies. For most applications, the very slight high frequency dampening is a worthwhile exchange for the notable wind noise reduction.

    The WCF-UB440's foam is hypoallergenic and washable and helps prevent moisture and dirt from damaging your microphone. The windscreen has a height of 3.5" and is designed to fit over the Senal UB-440 as well as mics from AKG, Shure, Neumann, Mi-Tek, MXL, Behringer, SE Electronic, Rode and most other large diaphragm condensers with a grill diameter of larger than 2".

    The WCF-UB440 Foam Windscreen for the Senal UB-440 is an effective solution for basic wind protection.
