I recently purchased a double ended spigot from B&H. I use the 1/4 end to attach to my Impact stand. What can I use the 3/8 end for? Full disclosure- A colleague of mine insisted I have one around the studio. He said it was a must-have item, you're not a real photographer without it . I really respect this man's opinion, but now I'm not sure it was a wise investment. Did I waste MY money?????

The clamp makes a great way of keeping speedlite battery packs without putting tension on the connection wire.

My Triple Shoe V-Bracket is shaped more like a U than a V . Should I be concerned? It seems like the two sides of the V / U bracket should be the same length. Will this be compatible with my camera's accessory shoe??

Does this kit include the 492 model ball head?
Asked by: Mike P.
Yes it does. My advice though is to Loctite the thread that secures the ball head as they can detach relatively easily.

Can you replace the flash shoe mount on the Justin clamp for one that works with a Canon 600 EX-RT? There doesn't seem be a way to lock it in place.
Asked by: Patricia B.
All canon hot shoes are the same size and shape. Almost all hot shoes on the market, by every brand, is the same size and shape. This manfrotto clamp DOES fit the 600ex-rt and every other hot shoe device that I have attempted to attach, including every Canon Flash 580 EX, 580 EXII, 600 EX RT, Pocketwizard....and others
