Leupold keeps their successful tradition of delivering state of the art sport optics alive with their persistent attention to detail, precision and quality. This American optics company, located in Portland, Oregon, pioneered the process of nitrogen purging to waterproof riflescopes in 1947. Since then and to this day Leupold continues to develop new technologies, and use advanced materials to push the envelope to produce some of the world's finest sport optics.
Leupold's 4.5-14x40 Mark 4 LR/T Riflescope has become a go-to optic for many law enforcement agencies for good reason. This is a fully featured, high performance sighting system with an attractive price point. The mid to high level magnification gives you target acquisition options needed for today's urban tactical scenarios; the 30mm main tube delivers an amazing 95 MOA of adjustment for elevation. With a properly canted mounting rail you'll be able to achieve zero on your cross hairs at 100-1000 yd. When your radio squawks & your chief needs to know if you have a shot or not, you can rely on Leupold's Index Matched Lens System to deliver a crystal clear sight picture; the internal optical stack is engineered from select lens elements with dedicated multi-coatings for optimum levels of light transmission. After all, if you can't see it, you can't hit it. You can count on outstanding performance from this Mark 4; the solid one-piece main tube is rugged and waterproof, and the target style knobs are well protected under threaded metal covers. For a successful conclusion to any urban tactical mission, you and your gear must rise to the occasion and perform flawlessly. This Mark 4 delivers the optical edge you need, & the durability you can rely on when its go time.
To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. By affixing the scope mounted rings to the rifle mounted base you create a reliable accurate, and secure sighting system. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.

Mil-Dot Reticle in Second Focal Plane
The Mil-Dot reticle is the standard reticle used by the US Army and Marine Corps that enables long range distance calculations. A series of dots upon the cross hairs gives the shooter the ability to judge bullet drop and the proper hold over for accurate long range shot placement.
This scope has the reticle positioned in the rear or second focal plane so it will not magnify when the scope is zoomed to high power. This leaves the sight picture unobstructed for a clear view at all times.
