Focusing Screen "A" for F6 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from a necessity when MF lenses are used It is an old fashioned designed, but still worth owning and using it especially when using manual focusing lenses. Whether you use the diagonal or horizontal split image is a matter of personal taste, object and/or camera orientation. The viewfinder stays bright, so there is no need to opt for third party screens. Furthermore it can easily be changed, all you need comes in a small kit box, except a good illuminated work place and a relaxed hand..... It is a worthwhile investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good for manual AI or Non-AI lenses Very easy to focus with those AI or Non-AI Nikon manual lenses. This product contains a 3 mm in diameter split-image.No microprim is included as those K-type focusing screens for Nikon F3,F2,and a lot of Nikon manual cameras. The pitfall is the same as those of K-type's. When you focus it in dim light with smaller aperture lenses (< f4),one half of split image will black out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but could be better It is really handy that Nikon offers a screen like this with a split image focusing aid in the middle. Problem is, it can be really hard to locate the split image as it does not have a microprism circle around it. It if had that, I would give it 5 stars. I give it 4 because you get used to it, and are able to focus accurately with manual lenses.
