Voigtlander VC Speed Meter II Reviews
Analog speed metering is fun
The speed meter works well and matches the measurement on my phone. Really happy to make my workflow fully analog.
Its Reputation Precedes It
I'm using this on a Leica M-A and so far I haven't noticed any issues with the dials being too easy to rotate. It very closely matches the readings from my Gossen Luna Pro in reflective mode so I know it's accurate. It's nice that you can see four other reciprocal ISO and shutter speed options at a glance as well. It fit firmly into the shoe of the Leica M-A so I don't think it will fall out. It slightly ruins the clean and simple look of the camera but since I got the matching color it's not too bad. It is so much better than having to bother with the Gossen Luna Pro which is just a little too large for convenience, especially with all the other stuff we have to carry these days in our undersized pockets. I did a lot of research on other shoe-mount light meters and none of them seemed as high quality or looked as good so I bit the bullet and got this one and I'm glad I did.
