The Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder is ideal for mounting reflectors such as Impact, Flexfill, or Photoflex light discs up to 60" to a light stand. It mounts to any stand that has a 5/8" diameter top stud. It includes a 5/8" female stand adapter with female 3/8" and 1/4"-20 threads for stands topped with those threads.

Alternately, it can hold a small light head to an extension of almost 3' from the center of your light stand (with the addition of a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter, not included).

The Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder is ideal for mounting reflectors such as Impact, Flexfill, or Photoflex light discs up to 60" to a light stand. It mounts to any stand that has a 5/8" diameter top stud. It includes a 5/8" female stand adapter with female 3/8" and 1/4"-20 threads for stands topped with those threads.

This holds my Canon EX flash units perfectly. I used it initially for macro shots with a slide rail, but it's perfect for outdoor use with reflectors and other devices (intended use). After reading reviews, I opted for this as a low to mid-price range solution. It has a near perfect counterbalance weight. Very happy with it.

Great build quality and strength. Easy to use and to store. Using it for a large circular reflector in studio. I heavily rely on this and it always performs.

This is a well-designed, well-built, solid, and versatile reflector holder at a great price point. The vast majority of it is metal, some parts are plastic seemingly where they could make it lighter. Personally, I'd prefer it all to be metal and wouldn't mind paying for it, though through use I do understand wanting to lighten the load on the boom end where they could, and ultimately I don't have an issue with that. This comes with a very nice brass baby stud adapter with both 1/4 - 20 and 3/8 female threads. The main lever, which is metal, has a feature where it is spring-loaded and pulls out to rotate its position without changing tension in case it ends up in the way of parts of the boom. This holder is versatile. The clips are metal with rubber and can be adjusted. They hold collapsable reflectors safely and securely in any position, and can also be positioned where you can hold thin foam core at any angle, or foam core / cards / paper / scrim material vertically. The counterweight is nice, you may want to add additional weight if you want to perfectly counterbalance heavier reflectors. Overall this is surprising quality from Impact and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Seems well-built. Great for holding any kind of bounce or blocking. Wish it had one more clip though.

Product feels like it is made of pretty decent quality for holding small to midsize reflectors. I don't really have too many complaints other than it can take some finessing to get everything adjusted just right and to get the reflector to lay just the way you want it.

How wide do the clips open? I have some triangular manfrotto reflectors that have quite thick frames. Thank you.

They do not open wide. I use them with a collapsible reflector and it is difficult to open them.

Can I rotate clip 360 degrees? From the enlarged view I can see that the clip slides up and down the arm. I don't see anyway for the clips to rotate which is what I need.

It has been a while since I used the telescoping collapsible reflector holder (due to COVID-19) but as I recall when the screw at the end is loosened, the clip rotates right and left. As I also recall, when the segment that holds the end segment of the arm that is attached to the clip is loosened, to allow the arm to collapse or extend, the end segment with the clip can rotate. I am unable to verify this now as I am out of state and do not have access to my reflector now.
