Impact Collapsible Circular Reflector Overview

This Impact Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc is a versatile lighting tool for in the field or the studio. It allows you to bring out the shadow detail in your subject, using available or studio lighting. The disc has a translucent surface to soften direct or harsh light.

This 12" disc is suitable for accenting small areas of a portrait, and very small still-life setups. It folds down to one third of its open size, and comes with a storage sleeve. We suggest the purchase of a pivoting arm and stand, to hold the disc where needed, especially if you are working without an assistant.

Translucent white produces a soft light that works beautifully for both product shots and indoor/outdoor portraits.

This size of a reflector is very convenient especially if one is photographing small subjects, like a diorama or products. Not a great idea to flip open that 32 reflector, right? It folds into a small pouch (included) and sits in a corner of the bag. Both surfaces are very shiny and reflects a good amount of light. For the price, the quality is great.

I actually intended to buy a larger reflector and didn't realize I ordered a 12 size but I'm glad I did! This little thing has been fun to use for portraits and it's easy to carry. If I just want to add a little light to couples' faces, this thing comes out. Love it!

Packs down to almost nothing, weighs practically nothing, and diffuses light just like you'd expect for macro subjects - what's not to like? The price is good, it's hard to regret this purchase. Super helpful for cutting down harsh light when shooting macro in the field.

This reflector is very useful in the field while you attempt to capture a macro shot in a sunny day. It also provides a very soft diffusion. Easy to use and transport in your camera bag. Very satisfied with the reflector.

What is the difference between the Impact translucent type and the regular circular reflector disc?

Translucent lets light through so I would use it in hash sunlight to soften shadows etc. A normal reflector is to reflect light onto a subject
