Avenger D600 Mini Boom Reviews
Extending Boom
It is heavy, and that is good. The hardware is all rigid. Mounting a Strobe and Modifier to the end when extended really should have a sand bag counterbalance or a real dedicated assistant to hold the opposite end.
strong and heavy
I wanted a boom and figured that something hanging out 3-6 feet from the stand should be pretty sturdy. This is very sturdy and strong. Only thing is strength comes with weight. it is surprisingly heavy. Fits in my gear bag so I'm happy with purchase
Mini Boom
Excellent quality of Avenger D600 mini boom.
Worth Every Penny!
I've used boom stands and some knock-off boom arms but none compare to this one. I feel very confident booming a moonlight and large modifier over a subject knowing this arm can handle the load.
Strong & reliable.
I had a wimpy boom arm that made me nervous at every session. No more worries!
Love this telescoping boom arm!!!
Very sturdy, well designed and easy to use. The padded handle at the end and the cushioned grip make for easy work.
It's very nice and feels study
I like this boom it feels beefy. It feels like a good build quality, However with a Profoto B1 and a 65 deep umbrella I really had to crank it to keep from slipping. So that's why 3 stars and not 4. You're definitely gonna want a sand bag on the hook. I'm using a Cobra bag. Works very well
Avenger Mini Boom
This super sturdy boom arm gave me the confidence to hang a Nanlite 300B with a 24*24 Softbox. Will use this for years to come.
