ZEISS Biogon T* 28mm f/2.8 ZM Overview

A classic wide-angle prime for M-mount rangefinders, the silver Biogon T* 28mm f/2.8 ZM from ZEISS is a versatile lens well-suited to travel, landscape, and other documentary applications. Its Biogon optical design effectively eliminates distortion for well-corrected imagery and one anomalous partial dispersion element is used to reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing for notable clarity. A T* anti-reflective coating has also been applied to individual elements to reduce lens flare and ghosting for greater color accuracy and contrast in strong lighting conditions. Additionally, the lens's manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 1.6' away.

Biogon optical concept benefits the wide-angle focal length by helping to virtually eliminate distortion for clean, realistic rendering.
One anomalous partial dispersion element is used to minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing for increased clarity and color accuracy throughout the aperture range.
ZEISS T* anti-reflective coatings have been applied to each lens surface to help minimize reflections in order to provide greater image clarity, contrast, and color fidelity.
Manual focus design enables a minimum focusing distance of 1.6'.

Would this work with BMPCC 6K Pro?

The only adapter available that connects Leica-M mount lenses with the Canon EF camera mount serves as an extension tube. It will convert ZEISS Biogon T* 28mm f/2.8 ZM Lens to a macro lens that can only focus at the minimum focal range. If this is what you are intending to do you can use the BH #FOPCEAVM. If you need the lens at a wide-angle on Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro (Canon EF) we only have the ZEISS Otus 28mm f/1.4 ZE Lens for Canon EF available on this brand.

How is this lens for blind focus? If I put it in a blind Leica MDa, in what number should I put the focus ring in order to be sure tha all in my image or the closer thing are in focus?
Asked by: Rubén
All ZEISS camera lenses include a DOF scale on the barrel. It is a simple matter to use a combination of a pre-set focus distanbce and aperture setting to determine an acceptable range of focus on cameras of this type.
