Compact Tripod with 2-Way Panhead is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast to set up and reliable I use the tripod when travelling around on vacation or for my work and find this tripod ideal because of its compact design, lightweight and facility to set up. When visiting there are more places where you can't use a tripod than the ones you do but I didn't mind taking it along with me everywhere, just hoping for that good occasion to use it, as it didn't weight much in my bag. Once you need it it's very easy and fast to set it up and my DSRL Nikon D5000 becomes as steady as a rock despite using a heavier lens (18-200). I have been using it for a few months and haven't found yet any significant flows.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Is it good because it is Nikon? I bought this tripod for use while travelling, to use with my compact camera and binoculars. As a tripod, it does what it was designed to do. But: -I know from the product description that this Nikon-endorsed tripod is not Nikon-made. I did however expect better quality. -The tripod, while just about the right size, is MUCH heavier than it should be. -It is poorly constructed. One of the leg locks on the one I received doesn't even lock properly. I doubt if the black colour is powder-coated - it seems spray-painted, which means that it will start looking badly worn pretty soon. -There is no quick release on the head! This means that you have to screw the locking nut directly to the camera, or binocular, and unscrew it afterwards, without the option of quickly detaching the camera from the tripod for a quick candid shot. -The non-slip surface on the head is of poor quality, and won't last long. -The injection-moulded hand-grips are made of cheap plastic, and one can see and feel it. -The rubber feet are flimsy and made of poor quality material. I was too confident in the fact that the tripod is endorsed by Nikon. It is cheaply manufactured, doesn't include features that one would expect from it, is overpriced and way too heavy. One could - and should - do better than this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tripod for the price This is a great, easy to use, easy to adjust Tri-Pod. It's not so heavy that is is cumbersome when packed away with the camera. It supports my Nikon D90 with the dual battery pack and flash quite nicely. I don't think that it would be good for a lot more weight, but it certainly fills my needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's perfect for me. . . I don't know how this would work for a professional photographer. . . but for me - it was perfect. It is super stable and solid - and folds down so small. . .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ... I was looking for a light-weight tripod and this is just what I needed. Not super sturdy, but it suits my needs. ...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from light tripod Light so it is easy to travel with but it does not extend high enough for my height (6'1) so it would need to be a little taller to be what I really want but for a small price, it does the trick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than I anticipated I needed a tripod to take pictures and found the Nikon Compact Tripod. It is very well constructed and could be durable for years to come. Nice black finish aluminum frame. It has a liquid leveler built in to ensure level surfaces. Extremely light weight. I would recommend this product to any photographer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tripod Great tripod i use it with my D5100 and works great. Lightweight, compact, and sturdy. Only downfall is it only opens up to like 50in but gets the job done not good for real tall people.Otherwise i would def reccomend to all!!
