They tried to cram so much information onto such a small laminated card that is is really illegible without a magnifying glass.

Does what it is supposed to

The 580EX has a multitude of functions, settings, and adjustments. Unless you use these all regularly and have them memorized, then you have to break out the manual to figure them out when the occasion to use one or more arises. This handy laminated card summarizes it all nicely and fits in the camera bag. It does its job. To cram all that info on one card, the print is necessarily fine - but no way around that except to make it larger, or more pages. I prefer one.

i am super lazy when it comes to reading manuals so i thought it would be worth it. I read things and it made me want to look in the manual to really understand.

VERY GOOD. I LIKE THE LAMINATED IDEA AS IT WILL KEEP IT IN GREAT SHAPE. THE PRINT IS SMALL & HARD TO READ. BUT IT BEATS A HUGE ITEM.

makes carrying the manual unnecessary

I suppose there are a few brainiacs who never have to think before taking a picture, but I'm sure not one of them. With my wife doing the driving, I like to review my camera and strobe options each time I go out to take pictures. I have 7 different digital cameras I use, and it can get confusing. I don't like to take the original user manuals because, for one, I just want to keep those in pristine shape. And two, they just aren't that easy to use. Photobert's Guides are laminated, so sweat and rain aren't a worry. And they are laid out with just the right amount of essential directions, broken up by specific functions, that I find to be very nice to use.
