Can this lens be used with a Nikon D5200 camera?
Asked by: Bob
Yes, you can mount this all manual focus and aperture lens on a Nikon D5200 camera. That is what having a company supporting its 60 year old F mount gets you.

question

Hi - I just purchased this lens for use on the D600 which I bought last year (both from B & H). My first manual focus lens. I understand it only works in M or A mode. In either mode I seem to be unable to change shutter speed - at least so the shutter speed is shown in view finder. If I change ISO it shows in the view finder. I am not sure how to correct this - thanks.
Asked by: Anonymous
When using this type of lens, the shutter speed is controlled through the camera's Shutter Command Dial. Depending on how you have the D600 set up its either the dial (wheel) by your thumb or forefinger.
