Nikon NIKKOR 50mm f/1.2 Lens
Key Features
  • F-Mount Lens/FX Format
  • Aperture Range: f/1.2 to f/16
  • Manual Focus Design
  • 9-Blade Diaphragm
Distinguished by its speed, the NIKKOR 50mm f/1.2 from Nikon is a manual focus prime featuring a versatile normal focal length. Well-suited to portraiture, among other subjects, the impressive f/1.2 maximum aperture excels in low-light conditions and also offers greater control over depth of field for using selective focus. The manual focus design offers precise control for working with subjects as close as 1.7' away and engraved depth of field and focus scaled benefit working with pre-focus and zone focusing techniques. Additionally, a nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.

What adapter do I need to mount this lens (and the rest of the prime series) to a Canon 5D Mk III? Thanks!
Asked by: gianluca c.
Most any EF to F adapter will do. If any of your lenses are G type you need something like this. FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Nikon F G-Type Lens to Canon EF-Mount Camera with Dandelion Focus Confirmation Chip B&H # FOPCECANG If your lenses are all manual, then use this one. Cinevate Inc Nikon F to Canon EOS Adapter Ring B&H # CIACN.

Will this work with the Nikon DF's Aperature Priority?
Asked by: Eric
Regarding the Nikon NIKKOR 50mm f/1.2 Lens (B&H# NI5012) Once you have created a profile for your lens it will work, yes. To do that, go to the wrench menu and then "Non-CPU lens data." There you'll give your lens a number by which to identify it (e.g. 1, 2, 3, etc.), and enter the data for it such as the focal length and aperture.

Is this lens compatible with Nikon D5600?

Is this lens compatible with Nikon D5600?
Asked by: Baes
Yes it is...just keep in mind that this is a manual focus lens. You can easily use it however in manual mode or Aperture priority for exposure. I personally love the older AUS lenses like these. I use on my Z6 which has focus peaking to assist with focus and it also has in camera image stabilizer for cleaner pictures. This lens will last you forever a d can also work on newer a d full frame cameras so it will continue to serve you well should you upgrade to a newer or higher end camera. If you can afford this lens then I highly recommend it...
