Photographic/Video Tripod w/ Quick Release 3-Way Head is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT!!! My dad was looking for a tripod to mount his binoculars on. This was perfect in every way. Sturdy, with industrial quality!! I bought this for his birthday, and directly shipped it to him. I found this company to be very professional. They kept me posted, on when the item was shipped, and when my dad could expect it!! All arrived when they said it would and my dad was impressed on how well packaged it was to prevent any damage. Awesome service, and awesome product!! Who could ask for more? Thank you B & H. Best regards, Diane

Rated 1 out of 5 by from unstable unstable. The height is nice, however, the plastic components are cheap and unsteady. Whenever the equipment that is attached is touched it continues to shake amking distance viewing difficult and photography impossible. Wouldn't recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of junk I used this for birdwatching with a spotting scope. It is a piece of junk, almost nothing good whatsoever. On the Celestron website you can see my full review, and all I will say here is that there were several serious things that went wrong with it in the first six months of fairly light usage. Again, if you want a full description of the tripod, go to the actual Celestron website and read what went wrong with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very rocky with celestron scope until! I found quite a lot of rocking movement in the tripod head with my celestron scope> My son and I eventually dismantled it and inserted a length of pvc pipe with a channel cut for the gear mesh for raising and lowering the head, into the central tube. It's now rock solid. Perhaps celestron could do this at manufacture and turn a reasonable tripod into a really solid unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Celestron tripod I use this strictly for my Celestron 12x70 binoculars. They tend to stick a bit but work fine for what I am using them for. I would not recommend if you need a smooth pan/tilt head, but for general use with the binoculars, they are great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great inexpensive tripod ONLY for light gear (camera, video) Surprisingly good construction and design for such an inexpensive tripod. However, it should not be used for a heavy pair of binoculars or camera. It was matched by the store for use with a large binoculars.
