Rated 4 out of 5 by from lots of fun choices lets you search out different cab,mic positions and amp choices to keep you from trying 40 different amps, searching for that certain sound for that the price can't be beat, great for home recording or patching through your pa.lots of fun

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problematic The output levels vary wildly depending on selecting tweed or the other 2 amp settings, and with the box on or off, making it very difficult to switch back and forth. Also, the 2 non-tweed settings provide distortion even on the lowest drive setting, so a clean sound is not attainable. I tested using the XLR output to a Mackie ProFX12 mixer and Mackie SRM450v2 active speaker using a Gibson 335s with Dirty Fingers pick-ups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great amp modeler for the price I just bought this thing to try, but when i started using it i was amazed. I was looking for a direct box for my recordings and i found this thing. I run my guitar through it to record, both acoustic and electric. for electric guitar i use the amp modeling and then i use Guitar Rig 2 for cabinets. and trust me it gave me awesum results. @

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great substitution for amp-less stage I bought this because of its amp modeling function. I'm playing live on stage, but most of the time, there's no complete stack / rig on the stage for guitarist. I have to plug my sound into the PA system directly and monitoring my sound through AVIOM headphone system or an amp. Tone: First of all, its an analog thing, not like other multi-effects which are digital and eat up your tone. Although seems like a lot of combination offered, but I would only use one setting. I don't need 20 of loose tone, but just one serious tone will do. tweed clean classic. When use of a single coil / strat guitar, it will give you the solid, crispy, bright tone. It works with humbucker to get a warm, bell tone. Crank up the gain too much will end up in distorted sound EVEN you are still in the clean mode. Other amp or gain mode just won't help in my tone. I will use other pedals before it to boost a overdrive/distortion tone. Ease of Use: I would never change my settings. The setup process is easy, just choose your preference from the switches, turn the knobs like an amp. The wordings are common and straight forward to guitarist, no hidden meaning, special symbol, etc. Battery compartment is easy to access, simple but nice design. Quality: The thing just looks fine but a bit vulnerable. Its made of plastic, including the foot switch. Anyhow, the plastic looks thick. Its consider light to carry with your pedalboard. The mic position switch produced a big clip sound when switching, this will make the PA guys mad, try all your switches at home first! Price: Very good price. Imagine what kind of multi effects or distortion pedal or amp that you could get at this price? Worth to invest one. My playing style: I play contemporary christian music mostly. I use this mainly in church service, and sometimes other events. Songs are Brit Pop / Rock style.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Bang for the buck I use this to give my solid state amp that slightly gritty fender tube amp tone. The tweed setting is pretty good for this. Can make my strat sound quite like a tele at times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Left that heavy amp at home! I carry this modler and di with my multi effects to most gigs and patch into the board. now I am the fastest guitar to set up no fuss no messy cables runs no heavy equipment. Oh I am also the fist to finnish packing up at the end of a long night. KISS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun As many other reviewers have pointed-out, the tone of these amp modelers is amazing. Build quality is of course fairly cheap so you have to be careful, but such a great value.
