Ideally suited for mid to long-range use in all lighting conditions, the Weaver Optics 4-16x42 V-16 V-Series Riflescope is outfitted with a wide and versatile zoom range and an objective that draws in a generous amount of light while still capable of being mounted relatively low to the rifle. Its classic design and ease-of-use is carried through with textured zoom and adjustable objective parallax correction collars, low-profile capped turrets, and an uncluttered reticle. To get you on-target faster and easier, impact point correction is made at 1/4 MOA per click with a total adjustment range of 40 MOA on both the windage and elevation. Its aluminum housing features a 1" one-piece main-tube with a corrosion and scratch-resistant matte-black anodized finish. The optical tube is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for water and fogproof performance in all weather and conditions.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Target Scope I use this scope for target shooting. The farthest being 200 yards. It's very clear at the 100 and 200 yard distance. I find the 14 power setting to be the most clear. This is the second Weaver V16 that I have bought. The first was with the fine crosshair. This one has the fine crosshair with a dot and I was worried about that. I'm one who hates the distracting lines and dots that are in most reticles. However, I found that the dot on this scope is so little it nearly goes un-noticed. Very good value for this scope. And remember B&H's policy on returns. If you don't like it, you can return it and apply the cost to a different scope.My only gripe with this scope is that one would think that at this price they would include some cheap little cover for the lens.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from BENCHREST SUPERSTAR! THE WEAVER V-16 FC-Mil Dot Reticle is a most popular scope with the all the Benchrest shooters that I know. I've just purchased my first of two (or three!) for my 52B and I can now see why. The Fine Crosshairs (FC) and the tiny Mil Dot are a huge assist in fine-focusing your target. Highly recommend for demanding target shooting. Additionally, the price from B and H cannot be beat. Also, Weaver has a Lifetime Warranty for the original buyer. In total, an unbeatable combination!
