Great while it lasted

I used this reflector for maybe 5 shoots and treated it well. But the inside bar snapped (as I am finding out happens more often than not) and now it is kind of useless. Yes, it will technically still reflect light, buts it super janky and will definitely will not fit in the bag anymore. I expect way more for a 100 dollar plus reflector. Such a waste of money.
Great reflector

This was a replacement for an identical, reflector I purchased 20 years ago. It really is the greatest natural lighting addition for outdoor photography, as well as window light in the indoor studio. It gives a beautiful catchlight

question
Does it work for full body portraits?
No, better you buy a bigger one.

question
Do you recommend the 48 or 30 for outdoors in moderately windy conditions. I have a 30 6 in 1 from Westcott but find it too small but think 48 might be too large? .
I suppose it is a little more difficult to use in the wind. However, its large size helps bounce more light and also works really well for blocking light

question
Lastolite also makes a one-stop version of this diffuser. Any thoughts on one stop vs. two stops and when is best to use one vs. the other?
Hello Tracy! I'm from South Australia and I own both the 1 stop and 2 stop diffuser. I find that the one stop diffuser is best for diffusion as it is sufficient to block out harsh light as well as blending some light and dark to even the tones without the risk of making it too dark for the subject. I've never had to use the 2 stop trigrip as a diffuser. I just use my 2 stop diffuser as a reflector (when covered with the relevant cover). I hope that helps!
