Good, but some issues

This lens is great, it has a sturdy construction, its smallish and easy to use, but the image quality is sub-par. It has pretty bad chromatic aberration (especially around the edges) and the colors aren't great. Good for beginners, but would not recommend for pros

Very nice lens.

I purchased this lens for doing interior product images. The ultra-wide angle is really good in small rooms. It's also pretty good for Landscapes, although it's not quite as sharp when doing long exposures and to me it's a little too wide for Landscape images. I had shot some of my first long exposure images with it using a 3-stop ND filter and I was about 50 or so yards from the Pier shooting at 20mm and found it a little difficult to avoid having too much space around the main subject, see attached sample image. Other than that it's a really great lens too add to your bag.

Great Lens

I have wanted a wide angle lens for some time now and find that this lens has satisfied my need. It feels sturdy in my hand even though it has a plastic housing. It's not too heavy and does a good job for interior and landscape shots. I do notice some distortion at the edges, as well as some barrelling in the center, which is to be expected with an UWA. It allows a wee bit more light in to the sensor as a result of its wide angle which helps a bit in low light conditions. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

I wanted a ultra wide angle (UWA) lens for some time now and my need has been fulfilled with this lens. Although the lens is encased in a plastic housing it still feels sturdy and the barrel rotates smoothly throughout its zoom. It does however, move in the opposite direction of my other zoom lens and that takes some getting used to. There is a little barrelling in the center as well as some distortion at the ends which is to be expected of a UWA. Because its a UWA, it allows a wee bit more light to reach the sensor which helps a bit in low light conditions. However, I would not buy it just for this reason, but it does help when every bit of extra light is needed. Overall I am satisfied with this lens.

Great Wide Angle Lens

This lens is wonderful for specific shots. Definitely not something you would throw on as a go to lens but it's awesome for interior work (I shoot real estate and yachts so tight spaces are common). It's also great for nature shots and even some fun perspectives of people. There is some distortion around the edges when shooting at the widest focal length but all in all I love this lens. Although I am definitely looking to upgrade to the fixed 3.5 aperture sometime, this does the job for now.

Terrible lens

Center focus not bad. Surrounding area terrible at any aperture. Maybe f3.5 is better. Don't know
