Epson 59 reviews

UltraChrome Yellow Ink Cartridge is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for Me! I am not a professional--just a hobbyist. However, I do have a pretty discriminating eye for detail and color. I have an older Epson R2400 printer and while it goes through ink and a somewhat disturbing rate, I can safely say from my perspective that I have no doubts about the consistently or quality of the UltraChrome inks used. Depending, of course, on the paper I can get really sublime results and the colors are reproduced with substantial accuracy to what I see on-screen (I say substantial because my monitor is not 100% a professional one, so I don't get the complete color space a much more expensive monitor would render.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Typical Epson Exellence All my photo printing is done on an Epson R2400 purchased in August 2007. Since then, I have printed 1512 Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy 5x7s, 138 Epson 8.5x11s, 111 Epson 11.7x16.5s, 2 Epson 13x19s & 28 Epson 4x6s, all on the best quality settings. All this printing included 11.25 yellow cartridges for an average of 134.5 5x7 prints per yellow cartridge. I do not replace 'empty' cartridges until the R2400 shuts down and refuses to print. Love the quality of prints I get from the R2400!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from R2400 ink quality but low capacity The ink is great. Folks won't believe my photos are printed by an R2400 inkjet printer (has to be a laser printer to produce good quality prints). But, the cartridges are small & must come about half full. I'm a semiprofessional wildlife photographer and make a lot of prints and am constantly reordering the SMALL cartidges. I don't trust generic bulk ink systems and Epson doesn't make them for the R2400 (or other printers?) any more. They make thier profit selling ink.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful prints Epson UltraChrome inks produce spectacular prints and the ICC profiles provided by Epson work great with all the papers I use. HOWEVER. Frustratingly small amount of ink and you can still hear fluid sloshing in the very expensive cartidge when the printer refuses to print until you change out designated colors. Perhaps this has been improved on the latest generation printer, but on my Epson 2200 and R2400 that was a consistent problem

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Epson Ink Makes Great Prints! I am a photographer and use Epson ink cartridges for printing photographs with my Epson Photo Stylus R2400 printer. The printer uses a lot of ink so I go through cartridges fairly quickly but I haven't had a problem with any of the Epson inks clogging or spattering prints. I will continue to buy Epson ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson replacement ink cartridges for older models... My older flatbed printers (Epson) have never had to try to operate with any other brand ink - love that I can get the cartridges I need - won't review the other cartridges - this could be repeated across the full spectrum for this printer (Epson 3800 Pro). Pull dates indicate fresh ink!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bleeding yellow Had to purchase this ink cartridge for the school printer as a Donation. Works great, you can print quiet a few images before you run out and have to replace the cartridge. This is also the only website that I was able to find it for cheaper. So yeah I'm all about saving $.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can't go wrong Was introduced to Epson dedicated photo printers and B & H in a photography class almost 15 Years ago. Both have proven outstanding value and reliability. Why choose a lesser quality product for something that will generate good memories for a lifetime?
