Close-Up Copy Stand is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from This stand OK for small point/shoot only This copy stand is OK for lightweight point-and-shoot cameras. Is not stable enough for medium weight SLR cameras that need to be rock solid for detailed copy stand photography. After purchasing this product, I realized that you get what you pay for. If you can afford it, move up to a more solid design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes close-ups easy I always had a problem taking close-ups of my coins. With the close-up stand purchased from B&H Photo my coin photos are now great! The stand provides excellent support, and with an adjustment or two, the camera can be easily moved to any position required. Simply supply an external light source and you are good to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good buy for the price I was looking for a small copy stand that would allow me to take technical photos of a small 8cm square object and this is exactly what I was looking for. I was able to mount a D7000 body and a 50/1.4 lens without issues. The setup is reasonably solid, I only wish the column could go higher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not expensive and works well I use this copy/closeup stand to photograph my coin collection. It is well constructed and stable with my Canon Ti4 with a 50mm macro lens attached. I needed to use some extra lighting and a set of magnetic work lights worked well after I glued steel washers on each corner of the stand to hold the magnetic base of the lights. All in all a very nice setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Digital Pursuits Copy Stand This is a perfect low cost copy stand useful for close-up photos of small objects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great for light camera with macro lens. I use this copy stand for digitizing 35mm slides... I mount a lightweight Olympus OMD-10 with a 30mm macro lens and a backlight...a LOT faster than scanning slides. This stand works great and does not take up a lot of room. Next I will digitize some photos on the stand... will need to elevate the camera... think it will also work well. The mounting bracket is fairly light so I'm not sure how it would work with a heavier full size DSLR.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Enough I use this to photograph small electronic devices up to about 6 wide, and this stand is tall enough to accommodate either my point and shoot or my SLR with 18-55mm lens. It isn't perfectly rigid, so clear shots require using timed or remote shutter release, but it is solid enough that setting up the shot is no trouble.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from could have been great this stand had potential; inexpensive, simple & solid fatal flaw: they didn't thread the mount - the pole end was fine, but the base was just a blank metal insert with no threading and just slightly smaller than the fitting - sent back
