Z-Pro Series Filter Holder is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs a Re-Design Not too crazy about the holder's attachment mechanism: three tiny, plastic push pins. Seems that the designers could have come up with something a bit more robust and better thought out. When the holder is attached to the ring, the two bottom pins block the first filter slot and prevent you from being able to adjust the position of the filter, rendering the first slot pretty much useless. The Z-Pro also vignettes more than expected when using wide angle lenses, especially on a full-frame camera. I returned my Z-Pro and purchased a Lee foundation kit holder with the wide angle adapter ring...the differences are like night and day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed Recently I became a big fan of Singh-ray graduated neutral density filters. I began hand holding them for my landscape photography but found that shooting at dawn meant long exposures and hand holding my filters was not practical especially if I have to stack 2 filters together. My hands are just not steady enough. Add to this cold temperatures and you have a recipe for a blurry photo. So I purchased the Z-pro. Things seem so much easier now. Just use Live View to position your filters and slide them down until you see the results you want. I'm very happy with this filter holder.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs to be designed better. I was very happy that the holder arrived so quickly. I started to use the 4x6 ND grad filters and found that the tabs on the bottom limit the ability to use the 4x6. So basically I have an oversized 4x4. IF you do not use the inside slot, you can use the full length of the filter, but you leave yourself with the possibilty of light leaks. Another problem is that I started to use this with my Tamron UltraWide lens (10-24), When I move the lens out to 10mm, the holder actually shows up on the edge of the photo. I have to zoom into approx. 12mm to prevent the holder being in the picture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great! I've never used the Lee Foundations kit but because it is never available I decided to go with the Cokin Z-Pro. I use it with my Lee 4x6 filters and t has been working out great for me. The one thing I don't like is that I can only go as wide as 22mm before the holder starts showing up in my pictures. My setup is: 5D Mark II EF 17-40mm F4L Cokin Z-PRO Filter Holder Lee 4x6 Grad ND's

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Z-Pro Filter Holder: Not for ultra wides The Z-pro filter holder does a really good job of holding 4x6 filters onto my SLR. The biggest gripe that I have with it is that I can see the edges of the filter on my full frame SLR with a 17MM lens. This is without the UV filter (or any other filter) on the 17MM lens and using the 77mm Z-PRO Adapter Ring (0.75mm Pitch Thread) by Cokin. One other item is that the filter holder bends the filters slightly along the bottom of the holder in order to hold them in place. I don't really know if this is a big issue, but I would prefer if the mechanism used to hold the filters was a little more secure instead of bending the filter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product Product is made of nice plastic that isn't too flexible, the only downfall is that the first filter holder spot cant be used for filters because the pins that hold the mount on stay up about 3mm and a filter in the first slot wont clear those pins. I don't think that's operator error on my part. But, otherwise I use this on a full frame nikon with a 16-35mm and at 16mm with a setup that hold only one filter there is no hard vignetting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A well made holder It is a well made robust filter holder. I use them to mount my Lee 4*4 and 4*6 filters. Once mounted it doesn't accidently pop off when you don't expect it too. It can be reversed to mount a single filter to very wide lenses

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Z-Pro Filter Holder Perfect Very pleased with this filter holder, the 4x6 filters work just fine. I use this for traditional film 4x5 lens with the adapter taking it down to 52mm with no problems at all. Also the 77mm adapter allows me to use the filter holder for digital DSLR shooting without having to hold the filter in front of the lens. I agree that the live view with the filter works great and makes post production easier getting it right in the field. I have used Cokin products for years and have always enjoyed the quality and creative filters they have offered. I would recommend this product to many folks.
