Not quite what it once was

I've been using these straps for DSLRs with heavy lenses attached for years. They are excellent. But my latest purchase for use with a Nikon D7500 includes quick-disconnect brackets that are very stiff and difficult to use. Disappointed.

Great Strap

These straps are great! Nice to have the quick release, also very comfortable and durable. I really don't like the camera advertisements on the stock straps and these straps are very attractive and low key. I had my previous one in heavy use for over 10 years before it started looking a bit tired so I got a new one.

I love the strap but had to buy the loops extra. I wish they made this strap with the pro loop ends. This is much closer to the CPS canon strap configuration with the pro loops added.

Got this for my A9 with battery back

Wow I never spent so much time researching straps, so I hope I can save you some time. I am replacing straps on all my cameras as they are ancient. My old strap was a Domke that I got when I got my Nikon F5 in the late 90s! Time to upgrade. I wanted a 3/8 strap on the low end, just like my old strap, so there is less material to interfere with my work. (Never understood the guitar straps on cameras). I wanted narrow as this was a lighter camera, and after setting it up, PERFECT! I am very happy with this choice for the Sony a9 with battery pack and lenses. Get it. I got a different strap for my a6300. My intense research has paid off.

My favorite straps!

As a news photographer, I've got my gear around my next for hours on end. I've used some version of this Optec strap for the last 15 years or so... I get one for each new camera. They are comfortable, sturdy, and don't irritate my skin like some cheaper straps do.

Great Strap!

Not only does this strap comfortably support a DSLR with zoom lens, but the under side doesn't slip at all. Furthermore, you can customize the leads with numerous other OP/TECH leads thanks to the disconnects.

Best strap for me and my girlfriend

We love these straps and replace the ends with the loop type from the same company. I use them on three cameras currently soon to be a fourth.

question

when you disconnect the neck strap from the parts attached to the camera body, can you connect the two ends of the neck portion (is one end male and the other female) to make a loop to fit over your neck?
Asked by: Denis
You should be able to connect it, but the length will be way too short to go around the neck. That's the only thing.
